2020 Employee of the Year recognized

Richland Newhope's 2020 Employee of the Year is described as a wonderful, kind, considerate, and positive person. 

Congratulations to Direct Support Professional Christina (Chrissy) Jamieson.  She has been employed at Raintree for almost nine years. 

Chrissy said being selected as Employee of the Year makes her feel good knowing that she is making a difference in other people's lives.

Director of Residential Jess Winans said Chrissy walks into the residential door with the idea that anything can and will be accomplished throughout the shift. She has a great attitude toward her co-workers, supervisors, and the men and women she cares for. 

"Chrissy goes above and beyond to ensure that the home runs smoothly.  Chrissy works extra hours nearly every week to help with staffing issues to ensure the shift runs smoothly.  She truly cares about the individuals that she serves."

Chrissy said the best part of her job is watching the smiles on the men and women's faces that she comes in contact with every day.

Jess also pointed out that Chrissy is a dynamic member of the Residential team.

"Chrissy knows every aspect of what a direct support professional accomplishes each hour, each shift, and each week.  She has excellent management skills and always gets her work done correctly and in a timely fashion.  She is a great mentor to everyone on the residential team."

Chrissy's best advice for others in her profession is to show compassion.
